The Cal Maritime Library has a position for a temporary, part-time Instruction Librarian for the Spring 2026 semester. This position is for 30 hours a week during the Spring 2026 semester (January 2, 2026- May 2, 2026). We are looking for someone to teach two sections of LIB 100, a 2-credit course taken by freshman and sophomore Engineering Technology students. It meets in-person, twice a week for 50 minutes on our campus in Vallejo. This assignment will also include reference hours and other tasks as needed (e.g., collection development). LIB 100 is scheduled for Wednesday and Friday mornings from 10:00-12:00. The candidate must be available for these times, but the rest of the weekly schedule is flexible based on availability.
