Reference services: recent experience as a reference librarian in an academic library, with an emphasis on helping students with research, technology, online learning, and college resources.
Library instruction: recent experience in library instruction in a variety of settings and formats and in the design of instructional materials.
Teaching experience: recent experience in teaching and curriculum design in a distance-learning environment.
OER/ZTC: recent experience in the curation of Open Educational Resources (OER) and support of Zero Textbook Cost (ZTC) programs.
Technology: facility and familiarity with existing and emerging technologies to enhance library services and instruction, for example, LibGuides, Microsoft Office, Google suite, learning management systems, design software, etc.
Student-centered focus: demonstrated familiarity with and sensitivity to the diverse academic, socioeconomic, disability, cultural and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
